How does enzymatic scrub work?

Enzymatic scrub gently cleanses the skin and improves its colour, also allows you to get rid of dry skin on the face and various discolorations. Also, it unclogs pores and – depending on the composition – moisturises or brightens the skin or regulares excess sebum. Enzymatic scrub smoothes the skin already after the first application and prepares it for next stages of care. Because it is very mild, it does not irritate the skin, even the sensitive one.

Which enzymatic scrub to choose?

Enzymatic scrubs available in stores with semi-finished products work more intensively than those from drugstores. In addition, by choosing the right ingredients you can adapt it to the individual needs of your skin. This type of scrubs are available in the form of semi-finished products, which should be prepared according to the attached instruction.

Enzymatic scrub – for whom?

Enzymatic scrub is dedicated to all skin types, but it’s the most popular among people with sensitive skin, or prone to acne or irritations. Therefore, enzymatic scrub is recommended for the owners of problematic skin that should not be rubbed. It does not contain any sharp particles, it is applied as a face mask and then rinsed with water.

How to use enzymatic scrub?

Clean the face and cleavage with a toner, then apply a thin layer of the scrub. Apply it either to the whole face or only to the selected parts, for example your forehead, chin, nose, omitting the eye area. Keep it on your skin for the time specified by the manufacturer and then wash the face with lukewarm water.

If the applied scrub begins to dry out, you can spray the face with thermal water. You can also apply it during a bath, because warm, steaming water will prevent it from drying out. Additionally, water vapour softens the skin and opens the pores which intensifies the effects of the scrub.

If you experience itching, burning or irritation, wash your skin immediately. Sensitisation to the ingredients of the product is an individual matter, so it’s advisable to do a patch test before the first use. To do it, apply a little cosmetic to a small area of skin and wash it after a few minutes. If any allergy symptom occurs, you should not use the product.

People who have extremely sensitive skin should not keep the scrub for more than a few minutes. In this case, it is also better to give up face scrubs in the form of a mask, instead, they should massage the skin with the scrub for about 2-3 minutes and then wash it with warm water.
