  • Apple vinegar for whiter teeth

  • Activated charcoal for whiter teeth
    Activated charcoal is a marvelous substance! It isn’t toxic, is totally safe for the human organism and incredibly effective when used as a tooth whitening agent. What’s the most surprising, activated charcoal doesn’t cause any damage to enamel because it doesn’t absorb the minerals that teeth are made from – simply put, activated charcoal doesn’t interfere with the teeth structure. How to make teeth whiter with activated charcoal? This is simple! Take one pill of activated charcoal, smash it and combine with a dash of water. Apply this black paste to your teeth and let it sit for 3-4 minutes. Later rinse your mouth thoroughly and brush the teeth with a regular paste. You can use activated charcoal once or twice a week.
  • Baking soda for whiter teeth
    Take a regular toothbrush, put there a pinch of baking soda and start brushing the teeth – do it for a few minutes. Another idea of making teeth whiter due to baking soda depends on mixing it with hydrogen peroxide. Use this paste to brush the teeth for 3-4 minutes, rinse the mouth and follow with a regular toothpaste.
    Note: Baking soda has a strong effect therefore you have to realize that using it too often may cause some damage to the enamel. For your safety, try not to use this baking soda paste more often than once a week.
  • Turmeric for whiter teeth
    This oriental spice, which turmeric undoubtedly is, has fungicidal and antibacterial effects. Since it’s proven to be able to brighten the enamel, you can combine a pinch of turmeric with your favorite toothpaste and brush your teeth with it twice a week. Another solution is mixing turmeric with coconut oil. If you want to, you can enrich this homemade whitening toothpaste with two drops of refreshing mint essential oil.
