Summer is just around the corner and it’s high time you took care of your feet. Exfoliate thick epidermis, get rid of corns and do pedicure. The three proven ways that most girls use will help you: first peel, then moisturize and nourish, and finally – decorate.

Skin exfoliation

At the beginning of each care treatment, you should first, get rid of dead skin cells. As a result, the nutrients in creams will absorb better and faster. You can precede the scrub with a foot bath in warm water with the addition of salt or oil. To remove dead skin cells, swellings and fingerprints, you will need a pumice or an electric file.

Moisturising and nourishment

Once your skin is softened and smoothed out, it will absorb nutrients and other valuable substances much faster. It is a good moment to moisturise and nourish your feet. Drugstores offer various products for this purpose, these include: creams, masks, balms, lotions. Remember to always look for those with the content of natural oils, urea, provitamin B5, lactic acid. However, try avoiding products that contain fragrances, paraffin, vaseline, silicone, and parabens. Moreover, do not forget to use the cream after each bath and, of course, whenever you feel the need to. As to the exfoliating treatments, conduct them no more than two, three times per week.

Applying nail polish

This is the last step of foot care. File the nail plate with the use of a glass file. Apply a special product to soften the cuticles and then push them back with a wooden stick. At the end, smooth out the nail surface with a buffer. Only now, you can apply a nail polish and a nice decor. Make sure to use only good-quality tools and products, such as the nail polish, base and top coat. Thanks to the last two cosmetics, you will be able to prolong the durability of the manicure.
